Plan from projects, not inboxes
A task in Focused Work always belongs to a project. Cadence gives the project a weekly rhythm, while explicit day assignment decides when the next action becomes real.
The global Tasks workspace still provides cross-project search, status filters, month placement, and safe bulk import.
Automate explicit commands
The API, imports, and outbound webhooks are intentionally command-oriented. Writes require idempotency keys and imports preview invalid rows before commit.
Google and Outlook calendars remain read-only context, avoiding silent conflicts with the source calendar.
Choose based on coordination cost
If your work already lives across many task providers, Akiflow's aggregation can remove more duplicate entry.
